An earnest sake brewery located in Kato, a city where Yamada Nishiki rice is produced. Kamimusubi Shuzo Co.,Ltd.
We are a sake brewery located in Kato, a city with farmlands that grow Yamada Nishiki, the king of sake-brewing rice. This locally grown rice is what we use to make our sake by hand and with care. Our sake brands are eight-time winnners of the gold prize in the Japan Sake Awards and a gold prize winner in the Monde Selection competition.
Embracing traditional techniques passed down from our predecessors, and aspiring to make sake that satisfies modern taste buds and our community. MIYAKE SAKE BREWING CO.,LTD.
/ slightly dry
Established in 1819, our company is located in the corner of Kasai, one of the largest producers of sake-brewing rice in Japan. We brew our sake through traditional techniques of the Tajima tōji (master sake brewer), with mostly local rice and well water drawn from the Kakogawa water system, which is the same source of water for growing sake-brewing rice.
Aspiring to make the one and only Junmaishu Fukunishiki co.,ltd.
Established in 1839 and located in Kasai, Hyogo Prefecture, a city known for producing sake-brewing rice, our sake brewery is dedicated to brewing exclusively Junmaishu. Through collaborating with local farmers to grow our ideal rice and appreciating the blessings of water and climate particular to this geographical region, we aspire to make the one and only Junmaishu by incorporating both traditional and modern methods of brewing, as we believe that "sake evolves together with food culture."
Inside our store that re-enacts a brewery from the Meiji Period, we sell a variety of products under our "pure food makes life satisfying" theme, including Fukunishiki's Junmai-shu, homemade sake-flavored Japanese buns, and traditional seasonings from across the country. Healthy, nourishing dishes are served in our restaurant, namely our Fukukura Bento which has local vegetables that are cooked simply with carefully selected seasonings. Make sure to treat yourself to our homemade malted-rice ice cream as well.
