Our predecessors have been making sake in Noguchicho-yoshino, Kakogawa City, since 1874. Our local sake called "SEITEN" is brewed with Kakogawa's underflow water and rice grown in Hyogo Prefecture. We are committed to making sake locally, by using our home-grown Gohyakumangoku rice, and Yamada Nishiki harvested by the prefectural agriculture high school and local farmers.

As the first sake brewery in Japan specializing in aged sake, Nihon no Koshukura Inc. creates new value and appeal for aged sake through unique maturing and blending techniques using mini-tanks and wooden casks. It also uses environmentally friendly fermentation methods that do not use refrigeration equipment or electricity, making it possible to produce sake sustainably. It spreads Japanese tradition and innovation both domestically and abroad and is committed to popularizing the culture of aged sake that will lead to the future.

Unlimited Partnership Okada Honke

Our direct sales store has been renovated from an old rice storage facility. Our sake bottles may be tasted and purchased here.
As for facility visits, our current sake brewery as well as our old, previously-used brewery are available for viewing. Tours are usually scheduled in the afternoon during brewing season, in which brewing processes may also be observed.
