Event and Sake Tasting Information at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai

We are pleased to introduce two sake-related events to be held within the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai venue.

1. Commemorative Event for the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Registration of “Traditional Japanese Sake Brewing”

Date and Time: Monday, June 16, 2025, 14:00–14:50
Venue: Demo Kitchen Area, “Future of Food and Culture Zone,” 1st Floor, Osaka Healthcare Pavilion
Program: Kagami-biraki (sake barrel opening ceremony), talk session, and sake tasting (featuring 4 varieties)

2. Discover the Appeal of Kansai Sake – Seminar & Tasting Experience

Join us for seminars highlighting the appeal of sake from the Kansai region, featuring sake brewers from the six Kansai prefectures. Tasting sessions will follow each seminar.

Dates: Sunday, June 15 – Saturday, June 28, 2025
Schedule (4 sessions daily):
① 11:30 / ② 14:00 / ③ 16:00 / ④ 18:00
Numbered tickets will be distributed 15 minutes prior to each session.
Capacity: approx. 25 participants per session (first-come, first-served)
